Culture Compass

Pandemic has been hard on every business sector. While some have enough resources to cope up, some are on the verge of shutting down. The close-down of the world has affected the food and beverage industry the most. Small restaurants and cafe joints have got no business due to lockdown.
Besides the government, various other organizations and companies have taken a step to help the marginalized businesses in hard times. Pepsi in collaboration with the National Restaurant Association of India and the food delivery platform, Swiggy is doing its bit to help marginalized restaurants and the restaurant workers who are being hit hard due to lockdown. It enables a customer to add ANY soft drink in their food order on Swiggy and Pepsi will provide a meal (dry rations) to a restaurant worker. They are planning to do it by contributing their proceeds to NRAI. The initiative #PepsiSaveOurRestaurants aims to provide 2.5 million meals to the impact of restaurant workers. The campaign will run from 25th June to 19th July and helps NRAI to rais funds for its Covid-19 relief corpus.
