Electric vehicles are ready to use solar power to charge themselves.
Culture Compass

After the remarkable success of Tesla, mankind finally started taking steps for their journey towards the acceptance of the age of electric vehicles. Now taking a step further, the engineers of APTERA MOTORS successfully installed solar panels on the hood, roof and the dashboard in Aptera 3. The car can charge itself while in drive mode, provided the weather conditions are suitable.
The futuristic design provides an aerodynamic advantage by reducing drag and providing a boost to the fuel economy. The Aptera 3 can go up to a range of 1000 miles per a full battery charge. Apart from the amazing range, the car can also achieve a speed of 60 mph in only 4 seconds and can also help reduce carbon footprint of the users by approximately 14k pound annually.
