Musicians over the globe are releasing drone-shot music videos to deal with the challenge of social distancing.
With a world-wide lockdown, artists have started experimenting with their content formats. The inability to access studios or high-production sets hasn’t stopped our artists from releasing their music videos. Rather, they’ve found an innovative way to release their production.
Naezy, an Indian Rap Artist, released the official music video of “Khamkha” from the album Maghreb last month and encouraged his fans to stay home by releasing a video where he shot the visuals by a drone. The video compiles beautiful drone shots, a strong narrative walking through the streets of Mumbai. The video received almost 500k viewers in less than a month, and was highly appreciated by the fans as well as the critics!
Earlier, Drake recorded some of the aerial shots of the video of the song “God’s Plan’’ using a drone too. Other Artists like Amy Lee are seen shooting music videos where they’re encouraging the audience to maintain and follow the social distancing norms. The quarantine has introduced many innovative ways for artists to adopt and follow. The drone trend remains on the top as the visuals are quite appealing and engaging.
