In the light of current social distancing guidelines, the entrepreneurs who made a huge hit with SubSafe product, have launched another innovative idea, Social Bands.
The bands come in three colors – red, yellow and green each carrying their conventional meaning. Red denotes – No contact, Yellow- elbows only and Green- High fives and handshakes.

Social Bands have been created to communicate distancing preferences in a silent sophisticated way. They are to be worn at places where one is likely to encounter a large number of people, like offices, religious, travel etc. These are a very reasonable alternative to communicate your social distancing stance and the system is very easy to understand. One could start with the red band as they start venturing into the world and gradually at their own pace, graduate to yellow and finally green. Those who are immuno-compromised and the ones who prefer can continue to remain in the red zone.

Social Bands are a great tool to make people feel safe and comfortable around each other. It aims to avoid unpleasant and awkward occurrences of clashing social distancing preferences.
