Zomato’s co-founder and ex-Zomato Chief of Staff launches mental wellness startup called Mindhouse offering meditation sessions.
Mental health is often overlooked in India, there are various stigmas attached to mental health. People with mental illness have suffered from bullying, violence, loss of belongingness. With work culture being a highly competitive, rushed lifestyle the importance of mental well being has increased.
To normalize mental health and awareness, Zomato’s co-founder, Pankaj Chaddah and ex-Zomato Chief of Staff, Pooja Khanna have developed Mindhouse, a venture focusing on meditation and yoga. Mindhouse app provides live classes and modules that can be watched and practiced anytime anywhere. Classes are interactive and some sessions are pre-recorded. The app is personalized in the sense that the user can customize its services based on what they want to achieve- sound sleep, focus, relaxed mind and body and is available on both android and iOS. The app’s main target is professionals as according to surveys, up to 50 percent of corporate employees feel stressed.
