Nivea uphaul their production units to make hand-sanitizers.
The Culture Wire Review
The German skincare brand Nivea also shifted production to make hand sanitizers amidst the shortage of supply. The Indian plant-based in Gujarat, Sadanand, that originally manufactured skincare products for the Indian market, will now be producing alcohol-based hand sanitizers to help with the shortage of supply. The products will be distributed for free to public hospitals and other healthcare institutions in Vadodra and Ahmedabad, along with other distribution partners around the country.
The company’s associates including Gujarat Print pack Ltd. and Hyderabad-based Aptar Beauty and Home India Pvt. Ltd. played a major role in the swift packaging and distribution of the sanitizers.
