OLA, BMC Partner Up For Covid-19 Relief

Indian ride-share giant Ola partners up with Mumbai’s municipal corporation to help transport frontline workers to and from their place of work.

Ola has promised to provide a fleet of cars to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to help move medical and paramedical staff and other healthcare workers to and fro their homes and hospitals.

The cars are to be used to ferry healthcare officials and BMC staff in their battle against Covid-19. Ola promised that they were working with the authorities to ensure that the drivers and the cars are equipped with the mandated essentials like masks and sanitizers. They also will make certain that the cars are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized regularly.
